Moosinning Municipal Flag

Flag with arms

The municipality Moosinning has adopted a flag by the vote of the municipal council of March 25th 1980. The flag shows three stripes of the colours Blue-White-Blue; it has to be used with the arms on it. The flag has to be used with the arms on it due to the same colour pattern of the national flag of Argentina. The Government of Upper Bavaria approved the adoption of the flag on August 5th 1980.

In actual use are hanging flags with arms in the proportions 5:2; the arms cover 58% of the flag width. The flags have been manufactured by Kattan in Regensburg. Different from most other flags in the Landkreis, the flags are not made from synthetical fabric. They had been used for the first time during the 950th anniversary of Moosinning in 1981. They are used on state and church holidays (e.g. Corpus Christi Day).
